  • Can you help if my dog has been accused of being dangerous?

    Yes. We have extensive experience with dangerous dog, dog bite, and dog at large cases and can help you navigate local ordinances, hearings, and court proceedings to protect both your rights and your dog’s future.

  • Can my dog be taken away after a bite?

    Yes. Animal control can seize a dog after a reported bite. It is up to the individual animal control officer to decide whether or not to impound a dog after and incident. Once a dog is impounded, there is limited time to request the dog be released, otherwise the the dog will stay impounded until the case is finalized. Every situation is unique.   • What are the possible consequences of a dog bite case?

    The potential criminal penalties vary based on where the incident happens. Depending on the situation, a person could face fines, or jail time. For the dog, they could face impoundment or euthanasia. Owners can also potentially face civil claims from the person injured by the dog. 

  • Do I have to go to court for a dog bite case?

    In many cases, yes. Dangerous dog citations are criminal citations, and usually require appearing in court to  determine whether a dog is labeled “dangerous." 

  • Can I be sued if my dog bites someone?

  • Do you handle animal neglect or cruelty cases?

    No. We do not take cases regarding animal neglect or cruelty.
